Things to know before booking

Yes,it's cake operates on a non-refundable deposit basis. 

Placing a deposit secures the date you require, and confirms your order.

Without a deposit, your order will not be confirmed, and you may lose the date you require.

By placing a deposit, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Deposits are priced at 60% of the cost of your order, but will be rounded to the nearest £10 for ease.

Deposits are non refundable. 

The outstanding balance must be paid in full 14 days before your order is due to be collected or delivered. 

Delivery fees are not included in the cost of your order, and will be charged accordingly.

Cost of delivery is worked out by time and distance. Long distance deliveries may also be charged an overnight fee.

Should you wish to cancel your order, please inform us as soon as possible, and be aware that your deposit will be forfeit.  

Should you wish to delay your order, cancel, or change the date, please inform us as soon as possible, as you may be subject to a rush fee, or receive a partial refund if cancelled 7 days before your order is due.

Orders cancelled after this time will not be refunded, as work will have already begun.

If your order is paid in full, and you are yet to choose a new date, your payment will be forfeit after 6 months. However, you may use your payment across multiple orders before this 6 month period is up.

Payment plans are available for orders over £150.

Last minute orders (2 weeks or less) must be paid for in full, and may be subject to a rush fee of £30.

A delivery wait fee may be charged, if you, or the venue, does not have the relevant preparations in place to facilitate your order at the time chosen by you for delivery. This is charged at £25 per hour, so please ensure everything is ready.

Prices are non negotiable.

Payments may be paid via Paypal, or by bank transfer. We do not accept cash.

For charity donations, please email. We aim to donate regularly, although this is subject to availability, and size of the donation.

We may request that some of the cost is paid towards larger orders. This may be either cost of ingredients, or a deposit.

A registered charity number is required.

Transport and storage instructions, relevant to your order, will be given upon collection or delivery. 

Any damage that occurs to your order once collected or delivered is your responsibility, although we will do our best to assist you.

Any repairs, which occur as a result of poor storage or transport, will be charged accordingly, including travel costs if necessary.  

Yes, it's cake has the right to refuse any order, although we will do our best to accommodate all requests.

Should anyone be dissatisfied with any service or goods received, please do contact us before taking to social media.

A copy of these terms and conditions can be emailed to you at request upon receipt of deposit. 

These will include transport instructions or terms of delivery.
